I have created a typographical logo for each Eastside Barrio. They were inspired by the Sanborn Insurance Map company. The fire insurance maps published in the 19th and early 20th centuries by the Sanborn Map Company have had an enormous influence on neo-Victorian design. Paying attention to ornate lettering, shading, and fine lines, I try to capture the same typographic craftsmanship.
