Dear Friends,     

     As many of you may know, I am involved in a Latino minority enterprise. I am raising cultural, heritage and pride awareness in the “Eastside Barrios” of Los Angeles.

I was raised in the barrio of Boyle Heights. I have always had a warm affection for Boyle Heights and for all the Eastside Barrios. Growing up in area has given me a wonderful connection that has stayed with me to this day.

​

As a teacher, artist, and graphic designer with over 30years experience, I want to educate students as to the beauty and rich history of the Eastside Barrios.

I plan on speaking and presenting my work to local eastside high schools.

I hope this will help the students appreciate the beauty of the “Eastside Barrios”.
